Dril-Quip Hosts Ngee Ann Polytechnic Students
10/13/2016
On Friday, September 16, Dril-Quip’s Houston facility hosted a group of students from Singapore’s Ngee Ann Polytechnic’s School of Engineering. This study trip is offered to Ngee Ann Polytechnic students who are pursuing a degree in Marine and Offshore Technology with a specialization in Oil and Gas. Highlights of their visit to Dril-Quip included an in-class presentation of offshore drilling and completion practices by Mike Speer, Manager of Marketing and Training, and Dick Ramsey, Training Instructor, along with a tour of the 218 acre manufacturing facility where the students were exposed to the manufacturing processes involved in producing equipment for the oil and gas industry.
This is the third year that Dril-Quip has hosted students from Ngee Ann Polytechnic and we look forward to continuing our relationship with this institution both in Houston and in Singapore.
