Dril-Quip was co-founded as a Texas corporation in 1981 by Larry E. Reimert, Gary D. Smith, J. Mike Walker and Gary W. Loveless. Together, Mr. Reimert, Smith and Walker have over 90 years of combined experience in the oilfield equipment industry, essentially all of which has been with the Company and its major competitors. In addition, key department managers maintain, on average, in excess of 10 years with the Company. The Company was reincorporated as a Delaware corporation on August 12, 1997.

Since its founding, the Company has consistently grown and now maintains offices and manufacturing facilities in all parts of the world to better offer its quality services, manufacturing and engineering capabilities to the industry. To better meet the excreasing demand for our products, Dril-Quip is significantly expanding its manufacturing capacity in key area throughout the world. This includes the opening of new sales offices as well as expanding our existing facilities in Houston, Brazil and Singapore.
