| Costing Analyst: The role will principally concern cost estimation and margin investigation in support of the quotations group, specifically liaising with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Purchasing to obtain/create costing for quotes, investigating actual profit margins, and assisting with quotation preparation in periods of high activity. Essentially the successful candidate will demonstrate proven experience in a Manufacturing discipline and ideally have a strong understanding of Machining and/or Fitting. An HNC level qualification in a Manufacturing related function would also be beneficial. Working knowledge of a variety of Microsoft Office software packages including Excel is also required. The candidate must be comfortable working on their own initiative and cope well under strict deadlines, while showing good attention to detail. |
| Engineer: To co-ordinate all Engineering activities required for a particular product or project. The candidate must hold Degree level or above in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical and Offshore Engineering. Relevant experience in a related mechanical engineering activity is essential. |
| Field Service Technician: We are currently recruiting experienced Field Service Technicians to join the company working on an adhoc basis. Candidates should have previous experience of working Offshore with drilling and production equipment along with a high degree of technical skills and the ability to interpret technical drawings. |
| QC Leadhand: Main Duties include co-coordinating shop floor quality control activities including trouble shooting, in line with instructions from Quality Supervisor, ensuring relevant factory acceptance/integration tests and flushing operations are successfully completed documented and that details of all inspections/non conformances are duly documented on relevant reports. The preferred candidate should be able to demonstrate a methodical work attitude, be computer literate and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Previous supervisory experience is preferred but not essential. |
| Quality Control Inspector: A position has arisen within the Quality Department for a QC Inspector who will be responsible for the performance of inspection/tests and status marking of products processed in the Machine Shop and Test & Assembly Shop during Receiving and Shipping processes. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a methodical work attitude and have a mechanical or machining background with considerable experience in Quality Control Inspection/Testing in a Manufacturing environment. Good computer skills and excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential , as is flexibility to work planned overtime and participate on a selective Nightshift Rota. |
| Quotations Coordinator: To co-ordinate and prepare Proposal documents, prepare cost-estimates, risk and contractual reviews in relation to the pursuit of projets, and to enter all order details on Dril-Quip Sales Management System (DQSMS). Candidates should be able to demonstrate a high level of interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills, and proven ability to establish and maintain work projects in a timely manner is a prerequisite. Excellent IT skills, particularly experience with Microsoft Office, are also essential. Previous experience in Commercial dealings would be desirable but not essential, and a degree of product knowledge would also be beneficial. |
| Subsea Controls Service Technician: The post holder will act as focal point for Total storage and maintenance contract and movement of controls equipment for all controls related projects amd will be required to Supervise and participate in the offshore installation/maintenance of DQ controls equipment. Whilst onshore the post holder will be expected to support the workshop activity of the Aberdeen controls group, tasks will include maintaining, servicing, preparing and shipping controls equipment Candidates must have previous experience working with hydraulic systems offshore, preferrably control systems The ideal candidate should also preferably have previous experience in the installation/commissioning of sub sea controls systems and experience/ lnowledge of fibre optic communication systems. |
| Technical Writer: Responsible for developing and updating Field Operational and Maintenance Manuals for products within the Dril-Quip range. Applicants should have working knowledge of offshore drilling and production systems. Technical Writing experience is preferred but not essential.

| Tubular Inventory Hand: A position has arisen for a permanent Tubular Inventory Leadhand at the Stoneywood site in Dyce. The job holder will be responsible for leading a team and handling a pipe yard operation. The ideal candidate should have proven experience with supervising the day to day operations of a busy, safety critical Pipe Yard, which will involve leading a team of material handlers/controllers to ensure full compliance with company policy & work procedures. Candidates must have proven experience in effective leadership skills, inventory stock control systems, and material logistics & shipping processes. Candidates must be PC literate, and be certified to drive a Forklift and perform Banksman Slinging operations. The ideal candidate must be able to provide evidence of successful Team Leadership and decision making while maintaining strict working practices and disciplines, and will be a dynamic and motivated individual. Flexibility with regard to overtime and participation in an on call rota is essential. Remuneration will reflect the successful applicant’s experience. |
| Welder - Pipe Shop: A position has arisen within the Pipe Shop for a Welder. At the moment this position is for a 6 month temporary contract. The successful candidate will be time served, with previous STICK experience (qualified to 3G/6G level). GTAW experience is considered advantageous, as is Sub Arc Welding, GMAW and FCAW experience. Good housekeeping and awareness of health and safety is essential for this position. The ideal candidate will be punctual, self motivated, have a positive attitude, and work well in a team. Flexibility to work planned overtime and participate on a dayshift/nightshift rota is also considered essential. |
