DH AND DHS SERIES GATE VALVES
The Dril-Quip DH and DHS Series Gate Valves are bi-directional sealing gate valves designed to offer maximum reliability and provide extended service in the field. This has been accomplished by incorporating field-proven gate-to-seat and seat-to-body, metal-to-metal sealing technology and a non-elastomeric stem packing design.
|
| • |
Gate-to-seat, metal-to-metal seal and two independent seat-to-body metal-to-metal sealing surfaces |
| • |
Hard-faced sealing surfaces provide long seal life |
| • |
Low pressure sealing ensured by pressure-energized Teflon® face seal and spring-energized Teflon lip seal |
| • |
Non-rising stem and heavy duty bearings ensure easy open and close functions or even while valve is under full pressure |
| • |
Selective metal-to-metal stem back-seat allows stem replacement while valve is under pressure |
| • |
Grease port located behind stem's backseat to verify the backseat seal |
| • |
Unique stem seal provides multiple sealing points along the length of the stem packing |
| • |
Close-fitting gate guides minimize amount of debris that can enter valve body |
| • |
Available with the following end connections: clamp, flanged, threaded |
| • |
Components of a pressurized valve can withstand a half-hour burn and cooldown and one-time operation without significant leakage |
| • |
The Stem packing is made up of high temperature Teflon and metal backup ring that can withstand the heat of a half-hour burn. |
